State workshop and elections July 2010
Thanks for all your support this year. As per previous correspondence, these are the offices up for election this year per AST and MS AST bylaws, secretary and 3 board of directors. All those running for office must turn in a consent to serve form and curriculum vitae per National guidelines posted on the AST website. Again I encourage you to make yourself familiar with the AST website www.ast.org. The forms for meetings and the consent to serve forms are on the site for download under state assemblies as well as the information about officers terms. Those currently nominated are for Secretary: Donna Holmes of Gulfport was nominated for a second term ;Board of director: Melissa Caquias of Gulfport , Jason Lowery of Biloxi. Persons interested need to contact Credential Committee members Shane Sykes, Clara Bryant Taylor or Bobbi Bennett.
